heyconnect brings in CTO from OTTO’s ODC
Technology offensive at platform service provider/ Torben Irmer, co-founder of fulfilment service provider ODC (OTTO group), leads the newly created tech team
Hamburg, 16. March 2022 – heyconnect is joining forces with tech expert Torben Irmer. The co-founder of fulfilment and returns service provider ondemandcommerce, which operated under the umbrella of the OTTO Group, is joining the platform service provider, where he will assume the newly created position of Chief Technical Officer with immediate effect. In this role, he will be responsible for the development of heyconnect’s in-house software applications, among other things.

About Torben Irmer
After studyinhg business informatics, Irmer worked in various e-commerce and tech companies, such as OTTO, Immonet, Nitrobox and Shopstrategen. In 2018, he co-founded the fulfilment and returns service provider ondemandcommerce under the umbrella of the OTTO Group Digital Solutions. With the help of a digital, cloud-based fulilment platform and physical warehouse and shipping logistics, the company supports small and medium-sized e-commerce brands and online retailers in particular, such as Amazon Prime Seller.
